What is great (and not so great) about Microsoft Teams


Now available on most Office 365 plans, Microsoft Teams is a chat based collaboration tool based in Office 365 but can be accessed using Windows desktop or mobile apps. It allows you to communicate and share information, files and content in a focused interface. Microsoft call it their ‘chat based workspace’.

CloudAssist talks Office 365 on the Sunday Business Show

A colleague of mine and Microsoft partner, Sean Brady from Cloud Assist was interviewed on Ireland’s leading radio business show, the Sunday Business Show on TodayFM. He was talking about Office 365, Skype for Business and the ability to work from anywhere. As Sean says: “You are not restricted to your office”. Sean also mentions which helps Irish charities use Office 365 for free.

SMEs struggle with mobile content and web sites

Ah yeAndrew Gilleran - mobile friendly content for SME/small business web sites in Irelands, nothing like a tech scare to get the heart pumping and poor small businesses racing to their local web designer.

‘Mobilegeddon’ is the term and it hits today as Google changes the way it reviews sites for its results. It will punish sites that are not mobile friendly for its search rankings. So if you’re not site is not mobile friendly it will appear down the page(s) on search results on a mobile.

Google kindly has a tool to check how mobile friendly your site is.
